Occupying a mere 350 square feet within an historic brownstone, this small pied-a-terre challenged all the notions of minimal requirements for residential design. Featured on Oprah Magazine, under “One Small Space, 20 Big Ideas”, this apartment still boasts all the spaces and functions of any larger unit by re-thinking and articulating every possible function, and by maximizing every possible configuration of them. Keeping materials and details in context with the historic building unifies all the parts into a cozy living space.
